Today is all about my amazing husband. First off, I love being married to him. Second, I am so proud of what he has accomplished in the last few months.
Shawn is a writer. He published a short stories collection a few years ago with a friend - if you are interested in that click here. This week he has officially self-published two books on Amazon! TWO books! And both of them are available now to buy! So today I am going to talk about Shawn and his books because I am so proud of him and I want to get the word out about his books!

TWO books! And both of them are available now to buy! So today I am going to talk about Shawn and his books because I am so proud of him and I want to get the word out about his books!
His first book is "The Archive". Shawn started writing "The Archive" in January of 2014 and finished around March 2014. After of few months of fine tuning everything, he began a campaign, if you will, to raise funding for the book to be published through
Now back to "The Archive", here is the summary from Amazon - “The Archive” revolves around a young man living in a world that has seen better days, influenced by a game that corrupts and imprisons all that dare to join in its ways. After year upon year of employment, hope lies for him in a mysterious vision of a town, a vision that he is determined to explore. Acting on his desire he suddenly finds his path entwined with a woman, one of the last remaining of an ancient profession. The woman’s job is to make sure humanity remembers those that are gone, and through her the young man is introduced to the life of a world he never would have known existed. But with a troubled past following his every step, he must now take the ultimate leap of faith, abandoning his old life and taking control of an ultimate destiny, living as a collector, the Archive, and trying to survive in a world lost to the violence of humanity.
"The Archive" is a thrilling, 210 page journey with a young man who is trying to find his way in a world that has continuously betrayed him. Click here for the link to "The Archive" on Amazon.
Inkshares . At the time, Inkshares was still a new company so there wasn't much intrigue and unfortunately he did not reach his goal in the time allotted. But now he has found the perfect way to share his book! Amazon has a company called CreateSpace and they allow authors, like Shawn, to publish their books. It really is so cool to physically hold something that Shawn wrote!

His second book, "The Kingdom Falls Collection", is actually a short stories collection, and I love it.
Now, you should know that I am not a fan of reading (why did I start a blog if I don't like reading? Because I like writing, just not reading). You should also know that I have ADHD. So when you put those two things together its amazing that I have even read the maybe twenty books that I have read. But when I started reading "The Kingdom Falls Collection" I wanted to keep reading! That never happens! It is a short story collection but all of the stories tie together. Each story is so different, literally. Each story and each character has their own specific style, whether its font, type size, pictures, or the layout. There are stories with the "normal" book layout, but there are also stories told solely by invoices and newsletters.
In any book you read there are always different characters with different personalities. But in "The Kingdom Falls Collection" you literally get to see the characteristics of each and every character. If this doesn't make any sense, sorry. I guess you just have to buy the book to see what I'm talking about! I know that I don't read many books but I know how books tend to look and I can promise that "The Kingdom Falls Collection" is different from everything else out there.
The following is the summary of the book from Amazon - "Set in a nation ravaged by a chaos unkind and unwanted, "The Kingdom Falls Collection" follows sixteen different survivors as they make their way to the last beacon of hope in what has become a broken and desolate land."

I know I keep saying this but I am so proud of Shawn! I am the wife of a published author! Since I first met Shawn it was very clear how much he loves to write. He has worked on many projects so to have the chance to see these two books be published and to actually receive a physical print of them is amazing! It can be hard to be a self-published author. Heck, it can even be hard to be an author in general unless you know the right people! Please consider supporting Shawn in something that he loves to do, write.
I hope that you can take a minute or two to look at "The Archive" and "The Kingdom Falls Collection" and possibly even purchase one or both of them! You can buy a paperback book or you can even download it for the Kindle.
Today they are even on sale!! "The Archive" is $10 and "The Kingdom Falls Collection" is $11.
If you want to stay up to date on everything and anything happening with these two books that are available now or Shawn's future projects you can follow along by clicking on any of these links. He will also be doing giveaways when the Facebook page gets to 100 likes! So go like the page!
